500 days Vision for Medical Device Company

CathVision is built on a graduate-level research project, founded, and still based in Denmark, they now also have operations in Minnesota, US. In their own words they are “a medical device company developing a novel, AI enabled, therapeutic platform for cardiac electrophysiology procedures”, focusing specifically on cardiac signal acquisition where their recorder brings breakthrough technology to the market. CathVision secured a new round of investments in August 2022 ($7,2 million).

By end of November 2022, co-founder and CEO Mads Emil Matthiesen wanted to take a moment to understand the current status and develop a clear and shared understanding of the CathVision could become 500 days into the future.

He and the leadership team convened 20 people from 5 different countries at their HQ in Copenhagen for a full day workshop.

A couple of excellent Zoom meetings later, we had a workshop aligned and Kåre & Per had developed a roadmap which would lead to one shared Core Identity (diagnosis) and one shared Aspiration for who CathVision could and would want to become 500 days from now. And, importantly, two shared models where every single person had contributed to their building.

Throughout the day, shared models were built four times, visits between groups were held, and new groups were created out of the original groups.

An intense full day, which CathVision celebrated by going out to dinner afterwards. Well-deserved if you ask us. They put a lot of energy and brain power into the workshop.
